Sat 06 Oct 2007  Junior Cup
Nottinghamshire IV FC 2
Under 13,s 4

Arron White (1)
Mark Sinclair (2)
Oliver Wilcox (1)

This is our first ever Junior Cup this season, NDFC played against Nottinghamshire 'B' at Bluecoats School.
Wilcox's first touch ball went straight to g.k (3mins), our g.k Hundal took free kick as he mistakely passed to away striker and got ball back to silly Hundal as he kicked it away, he was relieved (6mins).
On the centre of pitch Cresswell passed to Slater then g.k blocked Slater's shooting ball out which we could have two goals by then (9mins), Good slided by right back Hubbard to block nottinghamshire winger to shot out (10mins). Cresswell crossed from very end of pitch to Wilcox as he beautifully jumped and flicked ball in goal (19mins). Leicester born Corbett had his error own goal which ball bounced off his chest into our goal(25mins), good defendings from centre halfs Wolfe and Wright.
Hubbard threw ball to Wilcox and he found Sinclair on end of pitch as he shot ball on side of net (31mins), White had made several errors by giving balls away few time. Sinclair passed to Slater and he could have to score easily as ball went over the bar (36mins).
White dribbled ball himself and made no problem to score (43mins) as one min later Slater got tripped over without touching the ball (44mins), what a wimp!
White again needed to keep ball low as he shot it too hard which it went over the post (49mins) also he again threw ball over the opponent's head then Sinclair recieved it and scored goal (56mins). Slater had his quiet game that he got food poisioning from night before the cup match.
Referee had a good word with Cresswell for his mouthing off but he luckily didnt got booked (60mins). Sinclair got his ball and found no defenders near the goal which g.k had no chance to save ball. what a simple goal! (65mins), away team got awarded their free kick and got hit on the post (75mins) as their g.k had made several good saves from 30% irish Sinclair and 50% irish Slater (79mins). Sinclair could have hat trick but got goal disallowed. Linesman needed new glasses (81mins). Our players were not concretrating their game as they let nottinghamshire 'B' striker scored the goal (86mins).
We won 4-2 at end of the full whistle but manager, assistant manager and captain were not happy with team's poor performance.
