Athletic had Daniel Jeffs in goal as he failed a fitness test and was unable to start in defence. Athletic started strongly and took the game to the home side from the kick off. After dominating proceedings, Athletic took the lead when Kyle Vincent-Squibb outpaced the home rearguard to superbly curl home the opener. Ryan Baber was again marshalling the visitors backline ensuring PSA never had a shot in the 1st half. With Kane,Robert and Aaron in control of any threat PSA could muster, the interval was reached without further score. The 2nd half continued in much the same vein and the only problems Athletic were experiencing was their knowledge of the offside rule. Time and again the Athletic forwards were caught by the home teams high defensive line. Emily Greenway was threading through some lovely weighted passes but the Killer 2nd goal was scored by Bradley Hardwick who had ran his socks off but had squandered the majority of Athletics chances, used great body strength to hold off the challenge from the PSA skipper to calmly slot home Athletics 2nd goal after a fine pass from Aniello Prota. A great result coming from an unconvincing performance with a few players still recovering from their exertions in Plas Doly Moch.
